1. Scheduling with Acuity
I love this scheduler. Since I have began using it, it has made my life so much easier! You can sync Acuity with any one of you calendars so that your clients can look at your availabity and schedule an appointment with you that doesn’t conflict. So, as long as you are keeping up with your calendar, once it is synced to Acuity, you no longer have to think about it.
Then when a client schedules with you, you and your client both will receive reminders and it makes scheduling a breeze! You can begin for free trial and choose a plan for as low as $15/ month. Which I think is very cost efficient considering the amount of time it has freed up for me and made my business much more organized. You can click here to begin syncing your calendar and begin your free trial today!
2. Scheduling your social media posts in advance
I love this because you can schedule weeks in advance and then let it run its course on autopilot! The few I recommend for scheduling out your social media posts in advance are CoSchedule, Hootsuite or Crowdfire, which is a great one for Instagram. You can do your comparison’s and see which you prefer to use.
3. A good email service provider
A good email service provider that I use is ConvertKit. I have used other email service providers in the past but I personally feel like ConvertKit is the most user friendly and the integration works great.
ConverKit allows you to setup sequins, landing pages, email blasts, opt-ins, etc. to easily communicate with your email list and grow it.
4. Drive more traffic to your blog using Tailwind
I can’t say enough how much I love Tailwind! It has been a game changer for driving more traffic to my blog.
Tailwind is a great tool to use to connect with other bloggers, collaborate and support one another by driving traffic to each others pins and websites.
For me personally, I was able to up my Pinterest traffic from nearly zero viewers on my Pinterest page to 9.6k views in just 2 short weeks! Tailwind allows you to put your pin scheduling on autopilot and to join Tailwind tribes to support eachother in driving traffic. What Tailwind is able to do in one day, it would take me weeks to do if I had to schedule each one manually or post each pin manually. Can you say game changer?!
The majority of my blog traffic comes from Pinterest alone so since getting Tailwind it has increased my page views so much! You can start for completely free here!
5. Setting up automatic messages on Facebook business page
This is a great way if you want to send out blast messages, greeting messages, etc. Some ways to utilize this feature is:
- Product updates
- Notifying a time you will be live
- Specials you are hosting
- New blog posts you want read
You can simply set this up by going to your Facebook business page, clicking on your messages and then you will see a symbol like this which allows you to setup your automated message.
6. Automate your blog posts
I personally use WordPress. It has a great scheduling feature where you can schedule your posts. This is especially helpful if you know you will be traveling, or you need to batch create content. Then no one will ever even know you’ve been gone!
The way you can schedule your blog post using WordPress when you are creating your post, is go to the publish section on the right, and instead publishing immediately, click edit, and set the date you want it to be scheduled for!
And there you have it!
These are my top recommendations for automating your business. My motto is work smarter, not harder. And by automating and using the right resources to do so, and working with a schedule, you are able to will undoubtedly reduce stress.
