Do you ever wonder how blogging makes you money?


I used to wonder the same thing. I wondered how bloggers were able to blog primarily and make a full-time income. Or in some cases, surpass their full-time income.

For a long time, I was hung up on feeling like everything had to be perfect before I could launch or make my blog publicly known. And I didn’t give myself credit where credit was due. I bought into the lie that I wasn’t knowledgeable enough to create a product yet. But that was an outright lie! And  I know this isn’t a lie that I was just telling myself. I know many others are telling themselves the same lies.

I launched my first service on my blog


This transpired after realizing there was a need for something I was good at. I decided to launch my Instagram Done For You service after a little while of having my friends and others from within my company asking me to do training, and asking me what my strategies were for growing my business and following on the Instagram platform. And then something finally clicked. I realized I had a service that people were already approaching me for, so it made sense to scale it and offer it as a paid service.

I literally was able to get the service up and running and created after only a couple of hours. I put a lot of thought into it and then published the page and did a live video on my Facebook and sales began flooding in.

What are some ways to make an income quickly with your blog?


Think about if you have similar circumstances as I did. Here are some things to evaluate.

  • Do you have friends, coworkers, family members, etc. asking you to share your expertise with them all the time?
  • Are you good at photo editing or using apps or websites like PicMonkey or Canva?
  • Do you have a service you can offer?
  • Do you have knowledge you would love to share in a course that you can sale?
  • Do you want to form a mastermind community and charge a monthly subscription to share your expertise?
  • Have you recently purchased a course that you can be an affiliate for to make a commission for sharing?

Offering your own products or services in my experience is the quickest way to make a profit, especially if you realize there is already a need for it from your market.


How to make a decision on what to offer on your blog


One great tip is hop on your social media accounts and propose a question to your followers. Give them a few different options and have them take a poll or vote. You can also hop in specific niche groups on Facebook and ask your target audience what their biggest struggles are around a specific topic. Then use their feedback to piece together your program, service or product.

Another great place I love to search for ideas is on Pinterest. Pinterest is a great place to find other bloggers in your niche and look at their websites for ideas on what they are offering. Of course I am not recommending that you copy them, but use them to gain insight and creative ideas.


Maybe you have a lot of ideas but you are uncertain which one to move forward with first on your blog?


I know I recently had to do some evaluating myself to figure out which was the best course for me to launch next. So, I did a simple activity to help me come to a conclusion. I needed to figure out which one would be the most profitable, scalable, and require the least overhead and resources.


This activity helped bring tremendous clarity to me and I am certain it will for you too!
